Streamer characteristic and breakdown in synthetic and natural ester transformer liquids under standard lightning impulse voltage

TL;DR: In this article, experimental studies on streamer and breakdown in synthetic and natural esters were conducted, and it was found that fast streamer led breakdown becomes statistically dominant in a large gap under lightning impulse and ester liquids have lower breakdown voltage than mineral oil due to their low tolerance to fast streamers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Blockade of SDF-1/CXCR4 signalling inhibits pancreatic cancer progression in vitro via inactivation of canonical Wnt pathway

TL;DR: Data reported here demonstrate CXCR4 could modulate the canonical Wnt pathway and perhaps be a promising therapeutic target for pancreatic cancer progression.
Journal ArticleDOI

Oxidation stability assessment of a vegetable transformer oil under thermal aging

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focused on the oxidation stability assessment of a vegetable transformer oil under accelerated thermal aging at 110°C with various durations up to 2500 hours, and showed that viscosity responds more than acidity to oxidation more than hydrolysis whereas acidity responds strongly to both oxidation and acidity also generates acid byproducts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Streamer characteristic and breakdown in synthetic and natural ester transformer liquids with pressboard interface under lightning impulse voltage

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present experimental studies on streamer and breakdown of synthetic and natural ester liquids with the presence of parallel pressboard interface in a divergent pointplane field under lightning impulse voltage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aging assessment of kraft paper insulation through methanol in oil measurement

TL;DR: Aging of transformer paper insulation is commonly investigated through indirect measurements conducted in the oil, e.g. furanic compounds as mentioned in this paper, and the applicability of these new paper aging indicators in a novel, gas-to-liquid (GTL) technology based transformer oil through an accelerated laboratory aging experiment.
