Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of graphene oxide additions on the microstructure and mechanical strength of cement

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of adding graphene oxide (GO) to cement on its microstructure and mechanical strength was investigated, and it was shown that the addition of GO increases the viscosity, decreases the fluidity and shortens the setting time of the mortar.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of fly ash on rheological properties of graphene oxide cement paste

TL;DR: In this article, a simple and economical additive, fly ash, is investigated to improve the rheological properties of cement paste when GO is present, based on the quantitative analysis of the Rheological parameters, it was shown that fly ash can offset the reduction of fluidity by GO.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rheological behavior of fresh cement pastes with a graphene oxide additive

TL;DR: In this article, the rheological properties and morphology of fresh cement pastes with different contents of graphene oxide (GO) were investigated by a rheometer and a laser confocal scanning microscope, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and properties of a silane and copolymer-modified graphene oxide for use as a water-reducing agent in cement pastes

TL;DR: In this article, a copolymer-modified version of graphene oxide (S-GO) was used as a water-reducing agent of the cement paste to improve its fluidity and rheology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Research progress on the effect of graphene oxide on the properties of cement-based composites

TL;DR: Graphene oxide has significant strengthening and toughening effects on cement-based composites as a nano-reinforcement filler, and research progress on these materials is presented in this article.
