Journal ArticleDOI

Chromosome-level genome assembly of the East Asian common octopus (Octopus sinensis) using PacBio sequencing and Hi-C technology.

TL;DR: A chromosome‐level genome of a female East Asian common octopus (Octopus sinensis) is assembled by combining Pacific Bioscience single‐molecule real‐time sequencing, Illumina paired‐end sequencing and Hi‐C technology to facilitate research into their population genetics and comparative evolution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chromosome-level genome assembly of the greenfin horse-faced filefish (Thamnaconus septentrionalis) using Oxford Nanopore PromethION sequencing and Hi-C technology.

TL;DR: The first chromosome‐level genome of T. septentrionalis was constructed using nanopore sequencing and Hi‐C technology and will be a valuable resource for a range of future genomic, conservation and breeding studies of this filefish.

Chromosome-level genome assembly of the greenfin horse-faced filefish (Thamnaconus septentrionalis) using Oxford Nanopore PromethION sequencing and Hi-C technology

TL;DR: The greenfin horse-faced filefish, Thamnaconus septentrionalis, is a valuable commercial fish species that is widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacific Ocean and is an important marine aquaculture fish species in China.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of dietary Antarctic krill meal on growth performance, muscle proximate composition, and antioxidative capacity of juvenile spotted halibut, Verasper variegatus.

TL;DR: Findings illustrate that a moderate AKM level in diets can significantly improve the growth performance, feed utilization, and antioxidative capacity in juvenile spotted halibut, which support the finding that AKM may be used as a good protein source for halibot in the aquafeed industry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sequence and phylogenetic analysis of the mitochondrial genome for the East Asian common octopus, Octopus sinensis (Octopodidae: Octopoda).

TL;DR: The complete mitochondrial genome of the East Asian common octopus (Octopus sinensis) was determined and analyzed in this paper, and the analysis of the SNPs revealed 4 conservative SNPs for COI gene of O. sinensis compared with Octopus vulgaris.
