Simple and robust MXene/carbon nanotubes/cotton fabrics for textile wastewater purification via solar-driven interfacial water evaporation

TL;DR: In this article, a novel MXene/Carbon nanotubes/Cotton fabric was fabricated via layer-by-layer assembly to be used as solar steam generation for textile wastewater purification.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flexible, Ultralight, and Mechanically Robust Waterborne Polyurethane/Ti3C2Tx MXene/Nickel Ferrite Hybrid Aerogels for High-Performance Electromagnetic Interference Shielding.

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel waterborne polyurethane/Ti3C2Tx MXene/nickel ferrite (WPU/MXene/NiFe2O4) hybrid aerogel was constructed by constructing a strong chemical bonding interaction between an NCOterminated WPU prepolymer and hydroxyl functionalized MXene nanosheets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Robust light-driven interfacial water evaporator by electrospinning SiO2/MWCNTs-COOH/PAN photothermal fiber membrane

TL;DR: In this paper, an efficient and lightweight silicon dioxide/carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotube/polyacrylonitrile (SiO2/MWCNTs-COOH/PAN) fiber membrane was prepared by electrospinning and an interfacial water evaporator was assembled by attaching it onto a piece of filter paper with insulation polystyrene (PS) foam used as support material, and cotton yarns (CYs) used for water transportation.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Janus porous carbon nanotubes/poly (vinyl alcohol) composite evaporator for efficient solar-driven interfacial water evaporation

TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-walled carbon nanotube/polyvinyl alcohol porous composite evaporator with high conversion efficiency, broad solar absorption, and Janus structure was prepared via a simple freeze-drying technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-efficiency solar evaporator prepared by one-step carbon nanotubes loading on cotton fabric toward water purification.

TL;DR: A one-step carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotube loading on the cotton fabric, and assembled a jellyfish-shaped solar evaporator in which the evaporation layer acted as the body and cotton yarns as the tentacles used for water transportation has great application prospects for remote areas that lack fresh water supplies.
