TL;DR: In this article, the simultaneous presence of cubic and monoclinic ZrO 2 and αZr reflections in selected area electron diffraction patterns taken from an oxide grown on α Zr(0001) allowed the determination of a new cubic Zr O 2 lattice parameter of a = 0.5135 ± 0.0005 nm.
