Beta - neutrino correlations and longitudinal nuclear alignment in the decay of 20Na☆

TL;DR: An analysis of the line shapes of α-particle groups from the β-delayed αparticle decay of 20Na has revealed a simple method of obtaining β+−−ν anisotropy coefficients and F/GT ratios.
Journal ArticleDOI

Concerning the anomalous Fermi strength in the β+-decay of 20Na and mirror symmetry in the mass-20 multiplet☆

TL;DR: In this paper, the β+-strength in the decay of 20Na to the isobaric analog state in 20Ne has been measured precisely and it has been found that essentially the full Fermi strength is associated with this transition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal lattice effects in the 149Sm(n, α)146Nd reaction induced by thermal neutrons

TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal neutron induced reaction, 149Sm(n, α)146Nd, is influenced by the chemical form and temperature of the target material, and the detection of this dependence is due to the rather unique features of thermal neutron capture of 149Sm which make it particularly sensitive to the effective neutron energy spectrum.
