Are there real goldstone bosons associated with broken lepton number
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the usual objections associated with global symmetry breakdown may be moot in this case since the Goldstone boson associated with lepton number breakdown - the majoron - is so weakly coupled to matter that it may have well escaped detection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spontaneously Broken Lepton Number and Cosmological Constraints on the Neutrino Mass Spectrum
TL;DR: The cosmological constraints on neutrino masses can be altered if lepton number is broken globally giving rise to a very weakly coupled Goldstone boson-the Majoron.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rare decays of the Z0
TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the experimental prospects for detecting spin-parity onium states which are otherwise difficult to reach or discovering Higgs mesons and concluded that these prospects are not very bright.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quantum chromodynamic effects and CP violation in the Kobayashi-Maskawa model
B. Guberina,R.D. Peccei +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an effective hamiltonian for ΔS = 1 transitions in which all-order corrections in the strong coupling constant αs are incorporated, including those arising from penguin diagrams, was derived.
Journal ArticleDOI
D-meson lifetimes and decays
TL;DR: In this paper, the theoretical implications of having the D + lifetime be much greater than that of the D 0 were discussed, and a consistent phenomenology of D-decay obtains if one assumes sextet dominance and strong color clustering.
