Journal ArticleDOI

{sup 35}Cl+{sup 12}C asymmetrical fission excitation functions

TL;DR: In this article, the fully energy-damped yields from the {sup 35}Cl+{sup 12}C reaction have been systematically investigated using particle-particle coincidence techniques at a bombarding energy of approximately 8 MeV/nucleon.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct experimental evidence for very long fission times of super-heavy elements

TL;DR: In this article, the blocking technique in single crystals has been applied to reaction time measurements for the 238U + Ge system at 6.1 MeV/nucleon, which provides a direct experimental evidence for Z = 124 compound nuclei living longer than 10-18 s.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complex fragment emission from the 3He+natAg system between 0.48 and 3.6 GeV

TL;DR: In this article, the emission of complex fragments (3⩽ Z ≲12) from reactions of 3 He with nat Ag has been studied at bombarding energies of E = 480, 900, 1800, 2700 and 3600 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

35Cl+12C asymmetrical fission excitation functions.

TL;DR: The binary-process results of the present measurement, along with those of earlier, inclusive experimental data obtained at several lower bombarding energies are compared with predictions of two different kinds of statistical model calculations and the similarity of the predictions supports the claim that the scission point configuration is very close to that of the saddle point for the light {sup 47}V compound system.
