Journal ArticleDOI

Loss of light charged particles by nuclear interactions in BaF2 crystals

TL;DR: In this article, the nuclear interaction probability of light charged particles in BaF2 crystals has been studied as a function of the incident particle energy, and the experimental data are compared with the results of a model calculation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fragment excitation energies at freeze-out in $^{84}$Kr+$^{93}$Nb collisions at 45 MeV/nucleon

TL;DR: In this article, the emission of light charged particles and intermediate-mass fragments (IMFs) from central collisions of 45 MeV/nucleon 84Kr with 93Nb has been studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Origin and decay-properties of binary fragments produced in the 35Cl+24Mg reaction at EA ≈ 8 MEV/A

TL;DR: In this article, the properties of binary fragments produced in the 35 Cl+ 24 Mg fusion reaction at a beam energy of E Lab ≈8MeVA have been investigated by measurement of inclusive energy spectra, angular distributions and angular correlations between heavy fragments and evaporated charged particles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurements of time delays for projectile-like fragments in the reaction 40Ar

TL;DR: Crystal-blocking angular distributions have been measured for projectile-like fragments produced in bombarding a 10-{mu}m Ge crystal with a 1.76-GeV {sup 40}Ar beam and can be reproduced using a broad distribution of primary fragments of the type predicted by the abrasion model, but with excitation energies from 15 to 50 MeV, which are higher than predicted.
