Journal ArticleDOI

A new approach to target chemistry for the iodine-123 production via the 124Te(p, 2n) reaction.

TL;DR: A new approach to target chemistry—comprising target preparation, separation of tellurium and carrier-free radioiodine, and target-material recovery—is presented for routine production of sizeable quantities of iodine-123 for medical diagnosis.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Energy management for vehicle power net with flexible electric load demand

TL;DR: In this paper, a strategy based on optimization techniques as well as a rule-based strategy is developed for energy management in road vehicles with a flexible power demand, where the storage capacity of a buffer connected to the vehicle's power net is used to store or retrieve energy at moments that the production of electric power is relative cheap or expensive.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Energy management strategies for vehicle power nets

TL;DR: In this article, a case study on controlling the vehicle power net using knowledge of the driving pattern to minimize fuel use, by generating and storing extra energy only at the most suitable moments, was presented.
