Natural Crown Bonding of Anterior Fractured Teeth at Different Levels of Complexity: A 14-Month Follow-up.

TL;DR: The natural crown bonding technique, using tooth fragments and a direct composite resin, successfully restored all of the fractured anterior teeth and showed good esthetics and periodontal health after a 14-month follow-up, proving that the technique is a good option for tooth fractures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of growth of viable oral bacteria and Streptococcus mutans in biofilm models using three different culture media

TL;DR: It was concluded that UYTEB is a suitable alternative for microcosm and monoculture assays after comparing three different culture media: Brain heart infusion (BHI), ultrapurified tryptone-yeast extract broth (UTYEB) and defined medium mucin (DMM) in two biofilm models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development and characterization of a novel bulk-fill elastomeric temporary restorative composite.

TL;DR: The present findings suggest that the physical, mechanical and biological properties of the experimental TFMs with ZM are comparable with the property of the commercial reference, however, some properties were improved, such as lower microleakage and water sorption, and higher ultimate tensile strength values.
Journal ArticleDOI

Análise microbiológica de doces de leite vendidos em feiras livres de Pelotas, Estado do Rio Grande do Sul - DOI: 10.4025/actascibiolsci.v31i2.676

TL;DR: It was concluded that none of the doce de leite samples revealed pathogenic bacterial contamination, and based on the methodologies employed, no microbial pathogen isolates were detected in the investigated samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bovine Colostrum Silage: Physicochemical and Microbiological Characteristics at Different Fermentation Times.

TL;DR: In this paper, the physicochemical and microbiological compositions of colostrum silage at different fermentation times with milk and bovine Colostrum (BC) quality parameters were compared, and positive correlations were observed between total solids and protein and ash contents.
