Journal ArticleDOI
Novel high performance Al2O3/poly(ether ether ketone) nanocomposites for electronics applications
TL;DR: In this article, the preparation and characterization of nanocomposites of poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) containing nano-aluminum oxide (n-Al2O3) filler up to 30 wt% (12 vol%) loading was discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dielectric, mechanical and thermal properties of polymer/BaTiO3 composites for embedded capacitor
TL;DR: Barium titanate (BaTiO3) filled polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) composites were prepared using the simple solution method followed by hot pressing as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microhardness of PEEK/ceramic micro- and nanocomposites: Correlation with Halpin–Tsai model
TL;DR: In this paper, the microhardness of high performance PEEK matrix composites reinforced with micro-and nanosize ceramic particles of aluminum nitride and alumina was evaluated with Vickers hardness tester.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation of high performance composites based on aluminum nitride/poly(ether–ether–ketone) and their properties
TL;DR: In this paper, high performance aluminum nitride (AlN)/poly(ether-ether-ketone) (PEEK) composites containing 0.50% fractions of AlN were prepared by solution blending method followed by hot pressing to evaluate their density, melting temperature, crystallization, thermal stability, morphological behavior and Vickers hardness by using different characterization techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of aluminum nitride on thermomechanical properties of high performance PEEK
TL;DR: In this article, high performance polymer matrix composites based on poly(ether-ether-ketone) (PEEK) as matrix and aluminum nitride particle (AlNp) as filler were prepared.
