Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal liquefaction of municipal solid wastes for high quality bio-crude production using glycerol as co-solvent.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors focused on the valorization of heterogeneous municipal solid waste collected from the landfill using hydrothermal liquefaction process using glycerol as a co-solvent.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Review of Clathrate Hydrate Nucleation, Growth and Decomposition Studied using Molecular Dynamics Simulation

TL;DR: In this article, a review of existing theories about nucleation and growth of hydrates is presented, and the analysis techniques that are used to quantify such mechanism are also discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Morphology and dynamics of self-assembled structures in mixed surfactant systems (SDS + CAPB) in the context of methane hydrate growth

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated how SDS aggregates in the presence/absence of CAPB (co-surfactant) at ambient conditions and at hydrate forming conditions, resulting in altered growth kinetics of methane hydrate, and observed that SDS forms aggregates of different sizes and shapes depending on the thermodynamic condition starting from random distributions of the surfactants.
Journal ArticleDOI

InOperando Generation and Storage of Hydrogen byCoupling Monolithically Integrated Photoelectrochemical Cell withClathrate Hydrates Molecular Storage

TL;DR: In this article, a monolithic integrated photoelectrochemical (PEC) device was proposed for hydrogen generation with a semitransparent MoOx/MoS2/FTO heterostructure as a photoanode and black 2D-MoS 2/Si as a photocathode.
