This paper dictates the damages caused by water and what can be done to resolve those issues by involving the Internet of things (IoT). Keeping the quality of water in check is today's ultimate objective. Thereby, to guarantee safe drinking water supply, the quality of water should be observed regularly. The use of IoT based solution, focused mainly on water quality monitoring has therefore been suggested. In order to support the issue, an IoT-based water quality checking network has been introduced that continuously monitors and evaluates the quality of water and tries to distinguish whether it is up to the mark for general use. This paper includes the use of specific sensors that calculates the various parameters of the quality of water which includes conductivity and dissolved oxygen (DO), turbidity, pH, and temperature. The values from the sensors have been measured and calculated using the microcontrollers. Then these processed remote values have been transmitted to the raspberry pi, the central controller which uses the Zigbee protocol. Lastly, all the data from the sensors are then accessible via cloud computing through any browser, on request.

IoT Based Water Quality Monitoring System By Using Zigbee Protocol

In the context in which it was demonstrated that humanoid robots are efficient in helping children diagnosed with autism in exploring their affective state, this paper underlines and proves the efficiency of a previously developed machine learning-based mobile application called PandaSays, which was improved and integrated with an Alpha 1 Pro robot, and discusses performance evaluations using deep convolutional neural networks and residual neural networks. The model trained with MobileNet convolutional neural network had an accuracy of 56.25%, performing better than ResNet50 and VGG16. A strategy for commanding the Alpha 1 Pro robot without its native application was also established and a robot module was developed that includes the communication protocols with the application PandaSays. The output of the machine learning algorithm involved in PandaSays is sent to the humanoid robot to execute some actions as singing, dancing, and so on. Alpha 1 Pro has its own programming language—Blockly—and, in order to give the robot specific commands, Bluetooth programming is used, with the help of a Raspberry Pi. Therefore, the robot motions can be controlled based on the corresponding protocols. The tests have proved the robustness of the whole solution.

IoT and AI-Based Application for Automatic Interpretation of the Affective State of Children Diagnosed with Autism

In this paper, we design an Android application-based framework for a university-based academic solution for a crisis period. Nowadays people feel more comfortable using an Android phone for their regular day-to-day activities. Besides, during crisis moments, when people need to stay home for a longer period, smartphones are turning into the main source of entertainment, information, communication resource and many more. Considering the impact of this Android technology on university going students, we have designed and constructed an Android application named ‘Study-Mate’. By using this application, students can find registration and course information, lecture notes, faculty information, and research information, updated results from outside the campus, pay their registration bills and can contact their faculty members directly by saving both faculty and student’s profile on the application. On the other hand, faculty members can use it for online attendance, updating course materials, lecture notes and information related to the course and university. Lastly, it also provides the opportunity to conduct short classes online and students can attend them by the use of the internet. The outcome shows that the application is very promising considering the other available platforms in Bangladesh.

An Android Application for University-Based Academic Solution for Crisis Situation

The research paper is all about using OpenCV concepts with cosine theorem for images of counting fingers problem faced by an autism victim, where tracking their hand pose movements is a very difficult process. The normal human hand pose image is compared with the images of the autism patients and the difference between the images is analyzed to determine the ASD.

Internet of Things and Wireless Sensor Network Solution in Smart Environmental Monitoring

This paper shows the primary feedback of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) interacting with Humanoid Robot NAO. Four autistic children from Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC) is being picked based on their neurological and physical limitations which has been identified by specialist teachers, ASD specialist researchers, and faculty members. Their Intelligence Quotient depends on question-answer based Intelligence Test has been first carried out and they have undergone the autism diagnoses based on Autism Diagnostic Observation sessions by autism specialist teachers from Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC). The four of Children with ASD will then involve in the Robot-based Interaction Program, which started from session 1 to session 4. The interaction between Children with ASD and Humanoid Robot NAO is being recorded with Android Phone Video Camera and one mini camera included on the middle of Humanoid Robot NAO for initial feedback analysis based on verbal and non-verbal communications. The interaction session between the children and robot has been developed by using the software named choreographe of Humanoid Robot NAO.

The problem is among these chemicals some do not wear off that easily and if the presence of the chemical residue is high enough, it can cause serious immediate or long term health complications for the consumer. The objective was to help the consumer with an app to figure out the average chemical presence in a variety of food items that can help the user with the necessary information about the food item on a per unit weight basis. The modern world is all about instant information, saving time & reliability and nothing serves better in these categories than the smart phones powered and turned into super devices by various Applications or “Apps” as we generally know. With the widespread availability of high speed internet, Apps has started to play a vital role in human day to day life, as our life is getting complex Apps serve us a good deal of playing the role of a personal assistant. Using Apps we can keep track of our physical and mental health, we can locate doctors in emergency, find blood donors in crucial moments, order groceries at home, find out the components of our consumed food, order food from the restaurants we prefer, order a ride to reach at our destination or even gather knowledge about the galaxy and stars way far beyond our reach. All of these activities can be done instantly without even moving an inch. Hence Apps can save a lot of time and effort, relieving us from our hectic life.
