The aim of this study is to validate the effects of three selected major drivers; namely technological, marketing, and behavioral on online food delivery orientation. A conceptual framework is developed based on the three selected major drivers from the previous studies. To achieve the study objective, a quantitative method, a cross-sectional survey of the users of online food delivery applications, was used and one-hundred and fifty four questionnaires were gathered and analyzed via IBM SPSS and AMOS software. The finding revealed that the model was valid and technological, marketing, and behavioral drivers were found to positively predict online food delivery orientation. Based on the study results, several recommendations were suggested in this study to improve the food delivery.

Drivers of online food delivery orientation

This research aims at exploring barriers of adopting Industry 4.0 in manufacturing supply chains. Data were collected based on a review of extant literature on barriers Industry 4.0 adoption, individual interviews with a panel consisted of academic and industry experts. Following numerous previous studies, interpretive structural modeling (ISM) and matrix multiplication applied to classification (MICMAC) analysis were conducted to order 10 barriers based on their importance and impacts. The results excluded one barrier “cyber security challenges”, categorized another one as a dependent barrier “lack of digital strategy”, and eight barriers as linkage barriers “lack of infrastructure”, “personnel resistance to adopt new technologies”, “high investment requirements”, “data management and quality challenges”, “uncertainty of economic benefits”, “low maturity level of technology”, “lack of adequate skills”, and “job disruptions”. Henceforward, it was concluded that mitigating these eight barriers is very critical to ensure a successful adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies in supply chains. Further studies are required to categorize these eight barriers based on their importance and relationships.

Barriers to adopt industry 4.0 in supply chains using interpretive structural modeling

The main objective of this research is to examine the effect of environmental concern, subjective environmental knowledge towards green purchasing intentions. Also, this study has examined the moderation role of green skepticism towards these relationships. The population of this research is consumers of green purchasing in Saudi Arabia’s manufacturing industry. The quantitative approach using convenience sampling has been used for data collection. The PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 3.2.8 was used. Environmental concern has a significantly positive effect on green purchasing intention while significantly negative effect on subjective environmental knowledge and lastly, subjective environmental knowledge has significantly positive effect on green purchasing intention. Furthermore, green skepticism does not moderate the effect of subjective environmental knowledge on green purchasing intention and the effect of environmental concern on subjective environmental knowledge; however, green skepticism significantly decreases the effect of environmental concern on green purchase intention. The managers are recommended to provide environmental programs towards consumers that can increase their environmental concerns and lead to gaining proper knowledge and awareness.

The aim of the study is to examine The Mediating Role of Organizational Capabilities on the relationship between Lean Supply Chain and Operational Performance. The study population consisted of the managers in the upper and middle management of industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, which (84) companies. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was formulated to measure the variables of the study. Data were primarily gathered through self-reported questionnaires created by Google Forms The structural model was used to test the study hypotheses. The study results show that Organizational Capabilities mediate the relationship between Lean Supply Chain and Operational Performance.

The mediating role of organizational capabilities on the relationship between lean supply chain and operational performance

New technologies of Internet-of-Things such as smart mirrors gained a great attention from retailers in fashion industry. The aim of this study is to explore such an impact using technology acceptance model, i.e., perceived usefulness and perceived ease to use smart fashion mirrors on retailers’ intention to use such a new technology, and hence on customer satisfaction. Using a questionnaire to gather data from a sample of retailers of fashion stores, the results, which was elucidated via IBM SPSS AMOS software, indicate the retailers’ perceived usefulness and perceived ease to use have significant impact on their intention to use smart fashion mirrors, which in turn significantly impacts perceived customer satisfaction. The study provides empirical results on using smart fashion mirrors and its impact on customer satisfaction from retailers’ perspectives.
