Journal ArticleDOI

Spectral, magnetic, thermal, molecular modelling, ESR studies and antimicrobial activity of (E)-3-(2-(2-hydroxybenzylidene) hydrazinyl)-3-oxo-n(thiazole-2-yl)propanamide complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the structure of propane-mide (H2L) has been confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and 1HNMR spectroscopy, and it has been used to produce diverse complexes with Ni, Co(II), and Cu(II) ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Co(II), Cd(II), Hg(II) and U(VI)O₂ complexes of o-hydroxyacetophenone[N-(3-hydroxy-2-naphthoyl)] hydrazone: physicochemical study, thermal studies and antimicrobial activity.

TL;DR: The antibacterial and antifungal activities of the isolated compounds were studied using a wide spectrum of bacterial and fungal strains.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and magnetic, spectral and thermal eukaryotic DNA studies of some 2-acetylpyridine- [N-(3-hydroxy-2-naphthoyl)] hydrazone complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the 1H NMR spectrum of the ligand suggests the presence of intramolecular hydrogen bonding, and IR spectra show that H2APHNH is a bidentate, tridentate and/or tetradentate ligand.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bivalent transition metal complexes of o-hydroxyacetophenone [N-(3-hydroxy-2-naphthoyl)] hydrazone: spectroscopic, antibacterial, antifungal activity and thermogravimetric studies.

TL;DR: The discussion of the outcome data of the prepared complexes indicates that the ligand behave as a bidentate and/or tridentate ligand and the electronic spectra of the complexes suggest octahedral geometries for all isolated complexes.
