Tunnelling radiative recombination in labradorite: Its association with anomalous fading of thermoluminescence

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that tunnelling radiative recombination occurs in labradorite and can explain anomalous fading in feldspars, and this afterglow was not detected earlier.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tunneling afterglow and anomalous fading in dosimetry with CaSO4:Dy

TL;DR: In irradiated CaSO4:Dy, a low temperature tunneling afterglow is observed, which causes some anomalous fading of the stored thermoluminescence, which is evaluated to be negligible in dosimetry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison between tunnelling afterglows following alpha or beta irradiations

TL;DR: In this paper, afterglows following alpha or beta irradiations in some dosimeter materials were observed and assessed by comparison with TL, when possible. But they are mostly a blend of several non classical radiative processes added to tunnelling, which forbids a numerical evaluation of fading due to the tunnel effect.
