Selection of appropriate learning approaches and strategies, will facilitate the achievement of these learning activities. Similarly, in mathematics learning activities in PGSD (department of elementary school preservice teacher), which is demanding the development of a high level of mathematical ability as well as critical thinking skills. However, not many people are trying to look for other factors in addition to the approach/learning strategy, which is possible to contribute to the development of critical thinking skills, such as interest factor majors students (IPA [science] and non-IPA [non-science]) as well as mathematical prior knowledge which has been owned previously. In addition, affective aspects that accompany any critical thinking skills (critical disposition) is a study that is still rare. This paper briefly present to peel the election factor of approaches and learning strategies, ie, problem based learning with "MURDER" strategy, shared interests and their interaction majors and mathematical prior knowledge of the result of performance of critical thinking skills and dispositions of PGSD students. The aims of this study was to test the effectiveness of the Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) learning model in improving students' understanding of physics concepts. This research used Action Research with the research subjects of class X MIPA 4 SMA N 2 Batang. Data collection techniques using tests. The results of the research in cycle I showed the number of students who got a score of ≥ 60 was 4 students and cycle II was 14 students. These results indicate that the REACT learning model can improve students' understanding of physics concepts. The learning process that is carried out is always connected with events that occur in real life so that students understand the concept more deeply. The REACT learning model can be applied to other physics materials so that students are more actively involved in learning and improve students' understanding of physics concepts.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Fisika SMA

Kemampuan representasi matematis merupakan kemampuan yang masih rendah. Kemampuan ini dapat dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran yang inovatif. Salahsatu pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa adalah pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, transferring (REACT). Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode  eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design . Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD se-Kecamatan Cisalak Kabupaten Subang yang sekolahnya berada pada kelompok sedang. Sementara, sampelnya adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cigadog II sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Cisalak III  sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes kemampuan representasi matematis, skala sikap, lembar observasi kinerja guru, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan wawancara dengan siswa. Hasil penelitian dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi REACT lebih baik secara signifikan daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran kontekstual berstrategi REACT sangat positif.
