Photoisomerization of a benzopyrromethenone derivative in micelles and organic solvents
TL;DR: The photophysics of a benzopyrromethenone derivative have been studied using UV-visible, fluorescence and ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy in solvents of varying polarity and viscosity, including ethanol, TX-100 micelles, hexane, and glycerol.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oxidative silylation of zinc pyropheophorbide a methyl ester
Andrei F. Mironov,Viktoriya S. Lebedeva,Ekaterina G. Levinson,Vladimir V. Chupin,Raymond Bonnett +4 more
TL;DR: Silylation of zinc pyropheophorbide with chlorotrimethylilane in the presence of oxygen resulted unexpectedly in the formation of the novel oxygen-bridged dimer (2), the structure of which was assigned using mass spectrometric and NMR methods as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
meso-Reactivity of Porphyrins and Related Compounds. Part 10. Direct Fluorination of Octaethylporphyrin with Cesium Fluoroxysulfate.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
New fluorinated photosensitizers based on tetrakis(hydroxyphenyl) porphyrins
Raymond Bonnett,S. Phinda Songca +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the potential advantages of fluorinated porphyrin photosensitizers are outlined and synthesized analogues of the tetrakis(hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin series are described.
