Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of [11C]HCN production and no-carrier-added [1-11C]amino acid synthesis

TL;DR: The synthesis of no-carrier-added [1-11C]amino acids from [ 11C]HCN via [11C].aminonitriles was successfully carried out, and this method is suitable for automation of [ 1-11Csamino acid production.
Journal ArticleDOI

[18F]fluoride production with a circulating [18O]water target

TL;DR: In this article, a [18F]fluoride was produced via the 18O(p,n)18F reaction with a circulating 20% enriched [18O]water target.
Journal Article

[18F]Fluoride Production with a Circulating [18O]Water Target

TL;DR: In this article, the 18 O(p,n) 18 F reaction with a circulating 20% enriched [18 O]water target was investigated and optimized for beam current, beam profile, irradiation time, target thickness, circulation rate, and window material.
Journal Article

Biodistribution of a positron-emitting suicide inactivator of monoamine oxidase, carbon-11 pargyline, in mice and a rabbit.

TL;DR: The uptakes of the 11C in each organ except for the kidney and spleen seemed to correlate with the in vitro enzymatic activity of Type B MAO, and a high loading dose influenced the subcellular distribution but had little effect on tissue distribution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental studies on myocardial glucose metabolism of rats with 18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose.

TL;DR: It was revealed that the glucose demands of brain, heart, and tumor were entirely different, and insulin caused myocardial uptake to increase extraordinarily, although it caused a decrease in blood glucose levels.
