Vibrational study of layered MPX3 compounds and of some intercalates with Co(.eta.5-C5H5)2+ or Cr(.eta.6-C6H6)2+
Journal ArticleDOI
Electropolymerization of methoxyaniline: experimental results and frontier orbital interpretation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the electropolymerization reactions of ortho -and meta -methoxyanilines on a gold electrode and on a polyaniline electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI
Second harmonic generation from individual hybrid MnPS3-based nanoparticles investigated by nonlinear microscopy
E. Delahaye,Nicolas Tancrez,Tao Yi,Isabelle Ledoux,Joseph Zyss,Sophie Brasselet,René Clément +6 more
TL;DR: Hybrid nanoparticles have been designed for second harmonic generation (SHG) activity and investigated individually using polarized nonlinear microscopy in this article, where the structure is based on the insertion of non-centrosymmetric conjugated organic molecules in a MnPS 3 matrix which provides the ideal backbone for a one-dimensional alignment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural, vibrational and conduction properties of a new class of layer-type MPS3 compounds: MnII1−xMI2xPS3 (MI = Cu, Ag)
TL;DR: The detailed vibrational study of some layer-type compounds of the new classMnII1−xMI2xPS3 whereMI =Cu, Ag and 0 < x ⩽ 05 indicates that in the statistically disordered CuI compound (x = 013) the copper ions are involved in a dynamical process while no similar behaviour is observed in the ordered AgI compound(x = 05) as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
NiPS3Intercalates as Catalysts for the Oxidation of Sulfide Ions: Synthesis, Catalytic Activity, and XPS Study
TL;DR: In this article, the authors showed that the catalytic efficiency of layered NiPS 3 intercalates is correlated with their ability to be reduced in depth when brought in contact with aqueous sodium sulfide.
