Proceedings ArticleDOI
Application of Raman Spectroscopy in Investigating the Effect of Source and Temperature on the Maturity of the Organic Matter Exposed to Hydrocarbon Gas Injection
Sherifa Cudjoe,Reza Barati,Craig P. Marshall,Robert H. Goldstein,Jyun-Syung Tsau,Brian Nicoud,Kyle Bradford,Amanda Baldwin,David Mohrbacher +8 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of Heterogeneity on the Transient Gas Flow Process in Tight Rock
TL;DR: In this paper, a preferential flow path is found even when the micro-crack is absent, and porosity values calculated based on the forward and backward flow directions are also different, and the values are about 1.0% and 2.3%, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of shear rate on the activity of enzymes used in hydraulic fracture cleanup of tight unconventional reservoirs
Chris Ouyang,Reza Barati +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of high shear rates on the activity of enzymes was studied, and it was shown that enzymes activity decreased at increasing shear rate, however, this activity reduction is reversible.
Journal ArticleDOI
Recent advancements to engineer mesenchymal stem cells and their extracellular vesicles for targeting and destroying tumors.
Mohsen Karami Fath,Zahra Moayedi Banan,Reza Barati,Omid Mohammadrezakhani,Aliasghar Ghaderi,Ali Hatami,S. Ghiabi,Nazanin Zeidi,Katayoon Asgari,Zahra Payandeh,Ghasem Barati +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors addressed the current approaches used for engineering mesenchymal stem cells and extracellular vesicles (EVs) to effectively target tumor sites and deliver anticancer agents.
