TL;DR: The results obtained showed that, among patients undergoing toothbrushing there was a significant reduction in duration of mechanical ventilation, and a tendency to reduce the incidence of VAP and length of ICU stay, although without statistical significance.

TL;DR: This study suggests that a second dose of BCG does not offer additional protection against tuberculosis and should not be offered, and further studies with larger sample sizes could investigate the potential efficacy of revaccination with BCG in the age group > or = 15 years.
