Simple compactifications and Black p-branes in Gauss-Bonnet and Lovelock Theories
TL;DR: In this article, the existence of asymptotically flat simple compactifications of the form $M{D-p}\times T^{p}$ in $D$-dimensional gravity theories with higher powers of the curvature was examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Finite action principle for Chern-Simons AdS gravity
TL;DR: In this paper, a finite action principle for Chern-Simons AdS gravity is presented, where the boundary term is a local function of the fields at the boundary and is sufficient to render the action finite for asymptotically AdS solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Junction conditions in general relativity with spin sources
TL;DR: In this article, the junction conditions for general relativity in the presence of domain walls with intrinsic spin are derived in three and higher dimensions, and it is shown that the spin current is proportional to the jump in the vielbein and the stress energy tensor is proportional with respect to the spin connection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Degenerate Dynamical Systems
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the degeneracy occurs on domain walls that divide phase space into nonoverlapping regions each one describing a non-degenerate system, causally disconnected from each other.
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymptotically flat structure of hypergravity in three spacetime dimensions
TL;DR: In this article, the asymptotic structure of three-dimensional hypergravity without cosmological constant is analyzed, and a consistent set of boundary conditions is proposed, being wide enough so as to accommodate a generic choice of chemical potentials associated to the global charges.
