TL;DR: Synthesis of postulated metabolites of Norgestrel 1 for use in identification is described and structural formulas are given, and urine was used as a source to characterize fractions via mass spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-ovulatory/anti-pregnancy effects of [D-Phe2]- LRH analogs administered early in the rat estrous cycle
TL;DR: Data demonstrate that peptide analogs of LRH block ovulation after early administration by inhibiting the proestrous/estrous surge of gonadotrophin, which in turn suggests neural involvement in the ovulatory blockade and small changes of the amino acids in the 6-position subtly alter their anti-ovulatory character.
