Analysis of Functional Group Sited on Multi-Wall Carbon Nanotube Surface

TL;DR: In this paper, an integrated analysis of functional group sites on the pristine and modified multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) surface was conducted to know the effect of acid solution on the surface after purification and functionalization process.
Journal ArticleDOI

DSC Analysis on Water State of Salvia Hydrogels

TL;DR: The role of the water structure present in hydrogels from nutlets of three species of salvias, S. viridis (SV), was analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of Nanocomposites from Bacterial Cellulose and Poly(vinyl Alcohol) using Casting-drying Method

TL;DR: In this article, the contribution of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) in nanocomposites was evaluated by measurement of cross-sectional surface, moisture uptake and mechanical properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of nanostructured graphitic carbon from coconut waste via low-temperature catalytic graphitisation

TL;DR: In this article, a simple and relatively low-temperature method for producing graphitic carbon from renewable and abundant coconut coir is reported, where the formation of graphitic layers is observed in the form of well-defined lattice fringes that are separated by an interplanar distance of 0.3367nm around Ni.
Journal ArticleDOI

Properties of bacterial cellulose transparent film regenerated from dimethylacetamide–LiCl solution

TL;DR: In this paper, a transparent film was prepared from bacterial cellulose (BC) sheets by solubilization of its defibrillated freeze-dried specimens in a solvent of dimethylacetamide (DMAc) containing 8.0% (w/w) lithium chloride (LiCl), and their properties were compared with those of the native BC.
