Oleosin expression and trafficking during oil body biogenesis in tobacco leaf cells

TL;DR: The data indicate that oil body biogenesis can occur outside of the embryo and that oleosin‐GFP can be used to monitor early events in oil bodyBiogenesis in real‐time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrophilic Labeling Reagents of Dipyrrylmethene-BF2 Dyes for Two-Photon Excited Fluorometry: Syntheses and Photophysical Characterization

TL;DR: Synthesis of novel two-photon excitable fluorescent labeling reagents which have been specially designed to be used as label molecules in the ArcDia™ TPX assay technique suggest that the novel dipyrrylmethene-BF2 labels are highly applicable to bioaffinity assays based on two- photon excitation of fluorescence.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two-photon excited fluorescence energy transfer: a study based on oligonucleotide rulers.

TL;DR: The quenching of the donor fluorescence intensity turned to be the most consistent way to detect the FRET efficiency and the two-photon excited FRET is shown to give a good response to the distance between the donor and the acceptor molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Polystyrene Microsphere Surface to Fluorescence Lifetime Under Two-Photon Excitation

TL;DR: The results indicate that self-quenching and quenching by the polystyrene surface are both present in such a system, however, the effect of the surface can be avoided by increasing the distance between the surface and the label.
