TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the association of suicide attempts with changes in measures of overall health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and concluded that individuals with relatively recent suicide attempts report significantly lower HRQOL and QALY compared to both individuals with no prior attempts and individuals with more remote attempts.
