Journal ArticleDOI

Electrogeneration of hydrogen peroxide in gas diffusion electrodes modified with tert-butyl-anthraquinone on carbon black support

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified gas diffusion electrode (MGDE) was applied to carbon black to generate hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the form of a microporous layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical synthesis of hydrogen peroxide on oxygen-fed graphite/PTFE electrodes modified by 2-ethylanthraquinone

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of a catalyzed H2O2 electrogeneration process using a modified oxygen-fed graphite/PTFE electrodes in which the redox catalyst was incorporated into the graphitic mass was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of Gas Diffusion Electrode for the In Situ Generation of Hydrogen Peroxide in an Electrochemical Flow-By Reactor

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effects of applied potential and electrolyte flow conditions on the in situ generation of hydrogen peroxide in an electrochemical flow-by-reactor with a gas diffusion electrode (GDE).
Journal ArticleDOI

Low content cerium oxide nanoparticles on carbon for hydrogen peroxide electrosynthesis

TL;DR: In this paper, a comparative study using different proportions of CeO 2 /C (4, 9% and 13% ) was performed to produce H 2 O 2, a reagent used in the oxidation of organic pollutants and in electro-Fenton reactions for the production of the hydroxyl radical (OH ), a strong oxidant agent used in electrochemical treatment of aqueous wastewater.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrogeneration of hydrogen peroxide in acidic medium using gas diffusion electrodes modified with cobalt (II) phthalocyanine

TL;DR: In this paper, the development of catalysts for the electrogeneration of H 2 O 2 in acidic medium using gas diffusion electrodes (GDE) was described, and initial experiments were performed using rotating ring-disk electrodes modified with microporous layers of Printex 6L carbon containing various amounts of cobalt (II) phthalocyanine (CoPc) in order to evaluate catalytic activities.
