TL;DR: It is reported for the first time that short-term treatment with urocortin causes rapid phosphorylation of Src, and that the urocortsin-activated Src kinase serves as an upstream modulator of ERK1/2 activation, playing an essential role in uroc Cortin-mediated cardioprotection.
