Thirty-three brothels in rural and small-town Nevada, which contain between 225 and 250 prostitutes, are legal or openly tolerated and strictly controlled by state statute, city and county ordinances, and local rules. Twenty-two of the brothels are in places with populations between 500 and 8,000, and the remaining eleven are in rural areas. The legal and quasi-legal restrictions placed on prostitutes severely limit their activities outside brothels. These restrictions in conjunction with historical inertia, perceived benefits of crime and venereal disease control, and the good image of madams contribute to widespread positive local attitudes toward brothel prostitution. Interactions between clients and prostitutes in brothel parlors are also restricted and limited to a few basic types which are largely determined by entrepreneurial philosophy. An incentive mechanism for data sharing based on blockchain with smart contracts

High spatiotemporal resolution satellite imagery is useful for natural resource management and monitoring for land-use and land-cover change and ecosystem dynamics. However, acquisitions from a single satellite can be limited, due to trade-offs in either spatial or temporal resolution. The spatial and temporal adaptive reflectance fusion model (STARFM) and the enhanced STARFM (ESTARFM) were developed to produce new images with high spatial and high temporal resolution using images from multiple sources. Nonetheless, there were some shortcomings in these models, especially for the procedure of searching spectrally similar neighbor pixels in the models. In order to improve these models' capacity and accuracy, we developed a modified version of ESTARFM (mESTARFM) and tested the performance of two approaches (ESTARFM and mESTARFM) in three study areas located in Canada and China at different time intervals. The results show that mESTARFM improved the accuracy of the simulated reflectance at fine resolution to some extent.

The complexity of geographic modelling is increasing; hence, preparing data to drive geographic models is becoming a time-consuming and difficult task that may significantly hinder the application of such models. Meanwhile, a huge number of data sets have been shared and have become publicly accessible through the Internet. This study presents a data similarity-based approach to automatically recommend available data sets to fulfil the data requirements of geographic models. Unified description factors are adopted to provide a consistent description of public data sets and input data requirements of geographic models. Five elementary data similarities between them, specifically content, spatial coverage, temporal coverage, spatial precision, and temporal granularity similarities, are calculated. A similarity-based automatic data recommendation approach for geographic models

Data synchronous dynamic update is a main issue for the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) application system that is widely employed in distributed systems such as e-commerce and e-government. Technologies based redundancy is usually employed for building reliable service composition on top of unreliable Web-based application. Through the Caller-ID and the intelligence mobile phone use widely, the data such as the Caller-ID, the sort message and the contact table etc., can’t be join into the Management Information System (MIS), however, there are very useful for many application MIS. This paper proposes the architecture for modeling and implicating data synchronous dynamic update service composition based on SOA. As an application system for example, the data structure is designed, and the monitor controller hardware for transport the synchronous dynamic update data of the Caller-ID phone is given. Data Synchronous Dynamic Update Application for Caller-ID Phone with SOA MIS

In order to integrate distributed and isomerous earth system scientific data resources and provide one stop data sharing services for different users, a distributed data sharing platform is needed urgently in China. In this paper, we analyze interoperability requirements of the distributed earth system scientific data sharing platform (ESSDSP) in the first place. Then the general framework of the platform based on service-oriented architecture (SOA) is designed. This platform comprises one main center, one authentication center and several sub-centers in which core functions are encapsulated into web services. Through this incompact architecture, it can not only implement the interoperability among distributed data centers, but also easily integrate other software systems. Furthermore, these web services can be accessed by third party software such as e-business, e-government and so on to achieve data sharing function. Finally we introduce the design, implementation and deployment of some core web services in detail, i.e. data centers’ information synchronization service, distributed metadata synchronization management service and multi-resource data access service. This platform was deployed in Earth System Scientific Data Sharing Network(ESSDSN), one of National Infrastructure and Facility Development Environment Building for Science and Technology Industries Program of China. In practice, it comprises one main center, one authentication center and 13 sub-centers. So far, it has integrated 10.23 T Byte data resources and 17 T Byte data resources have been downloaded by 34,597 users.

Multi-scale and multi-layer perceptron hybrid method for bearings fault diagnosis

The invention discloses a method and a system for sharing distributed geoscience data, and the method comprises the steps of setting a total data sharing system and at least one sub-data sharing system, wherein, the total data sharing system and the sub-data sharing system respectively comprises a foreground data sharing subsystem, a background data management subsystem and a network service subsystem, and the sub-data sharing systems and total data sharing systems carry out mutual operation through the network service subsystems; utilizing the foreground data sharing subsystems for carrying out collection of the geoscience data; utilizing the background data management subsystems for carrying out technical review on the collected geoscience data; using the background data management subsystem of the total data sharing system for carrying out safety review on the geoscience data which passes the technical review, and issuing the geoscience data which passes the safety review; and utilizing the foreground data sharing subsystems for carrying out data query and access on the issued geoscience data. The method and the system improve the quality of data sharing service, the convenientdegree and the efficiency.
