River flow conditions and dynamic state analysis of pahang river

TL;DR: In this paper, the hydrodynamic study of Pahang River should be well understood especially when it is a target of northeast monsoon which influenced t he Pohang River Basin every year (from November to March).
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of 137Cs activity to investigate sediment movement and transport modeling in river coastal environment

TL;DR: In this paper, the sediment transport and mobility of the Kemaman River estuary, Terengganu Malaysia, was investigated, and it was demonstrated that anthropogenic activities within a watershed, such as agriculture and urbanization affected the sediment yield from the watershed.

Water Resources Study and Modeling at North Kedah: A Case of Kubang Pasu and Padang Terap Water Supply Schemes

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focused on the research carried out in Kubang Pasu and Padang Terap regions with the aim to obtain the clear information on the potential water resource availability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of methane generation rate and potential from selected landfills in malaysia

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change 1996 first order decay (FOD) model to obtain methane generation rate and potential values at Malaysian landfills.
Journal ArticleDOI

Paddy production and climate change variation in Selangor, Malaysia

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the relative importance of climate influences on the paddy production rate over 28 years (1980-2008) and found that for precipitation, rainfall is redundant during the main season while during the off season it bears direct effect on the production yield with R2 value of -0.293 and 0.1715, respectively.
