Journal ArticleDOI

Lithostructural and chronological constraints for tectonic restoration of Proterozoic accretion in the Eastern Indian Precambrian shield

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LAMS) to estimate the ages of the Chottanagpur Gneiss Complex (CGC), the North Singhbhum Mobile Belt (NSMB) and the Singhbhem Craton (SC).
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermo-tectonic evolution of the North Singhbhum Mobile Belt (eastern India): A view from the western part of the belt

TL;DR: The arcuate North Singhbhum Mobile Belt (NSMB) comprises multiply-deformed greenschist-amphibolite facies phyllites and schists flanking the centrally-located belt of the Dalma meta-igneous suite of rocks as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Implications of super dense carbonic and hypersaline fluid inclusions in granites from the Ranchi area, Chottanagpur Gneissic Complex, Eastern India

TL;DR: In this article, a combined fluid inclusion and mineral thermobarometric study in groups of synchronous inclusions in quartz within weakly foliated granites from the Chottanagpur Gneissic Complex, India, reveals super dense carbonic (CO 2 with minor CH 4 and H 2 O) inclusions and hypersaline (H 2 O−NaCl −±-NaHCO 3 ) inclusions, with halite-and nahcolite daughter phases.
