Combined effects of magnetic and electric fields on the interband optical transitions in InAs/InP quantum wire

TL;DR: In this article, the combined effects of magnetic and electric fields on the confined exciton in an InAs1−xPx/InP (x=0.2) quantum well wire are investigated taking into account the geometrical confinement effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phonon effects on interband optical transitions in InAs0.8P0.2/InP quantum wire

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of phonons, LO and SO, on the electronic and optical properties of InAs0.8P0.2/InP quantum well wire were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Absorption coefficients for interband optical transitions in a strained InAs1-xPx/InP quantum wire

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic field induced optical band as a function of wire radius is investigated in the InAs 0.8 P 0.2 /InP quantum well wire.
Journal ArticleDOI

Binding Energy of a Magneto-exciton in an InAsP Quantum Well Wire for the Potential Application of Telecommunication Networks☆

TL;DR: In this paper, the magneto-exciton in an InAsP/InP quantum wire is investigated with the consideration of geometrical confinement and the binding energy as a function of wire radius of the system is found in the presence of magnetic field strength.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pressure-induced interband optical transitions in an InAs0.8P0.2/InP quantum wire

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the geometrical confinement effect in an InAs0.8P0.2/InP quantum well wire and showed that the range of wavelength for the potential applications of telecommunications (1.3-1.55 μm) can be obtained by the application of the hydrostatic pressure.
