Higher order asymptotic crack tip fields in a power-law hardening material

TL;DR: In this article, the asymptotic stress and deformation fields for a crack tip embedded in a power-law elastic-plastic material are developed for a plane problems, and the most singular term in the series solution is the HRR solution, after Hutchinson and Rice and Rosengren.
Journal ArticleDOI

Higher order crack tip fields and its implication for fracture of solids under mode II conditions

TL;DR: In this paper, an asymptotic analysis for the stress and strain fields at a crack tip embedded in a power-law elastic-plastic material under mode II loading conditions is presented.
