Journal ArticleDOI
Enhancement of the mechanical properties of graphene based acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) nanocomposites
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of weight percentages (wt%) of nanofiller on ABS polymer properties has been studied and an increase in weight content of Graphene (1-6 wt%) enhances the dispersion up to a certain limit and thereafter it agglomerates, diminishing its mechanical properties.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced thermal, static, and dynamic mechanical properties of multi-walled carbon nanotubes-reinforced acrylonitrile butadiene styrene nanocomposite:
TL;DR: Nanocomposites of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were fabricated using a facile solution blending technique with the variable weight of MWCNTs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes on thermal and mechanical properties of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene nanocomposite
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have fabricated a nanocomposite of ABS using facile solution blending technique with functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) as nanofiller.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT) on Mechanical Properties of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Nano-Composite
TL;DR: In this paper, a mixture of Acrylonitrileitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)/Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) nanocomposites were prepared using solvent blending technique with chloroform as solvent ABS has high impact strength and presence of MWCNTs in them can further enhance their mechanical properties without affecting the weight significantly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of carboxylic multi-walled carbon nanotubes on mechanical properties of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene nanocomposite
TL;DR: In this article, carboxylic acid functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (c-MWCNT) was used to improve the compressive Young's modulus of ABS.
