Journal ArticleDOI

Ex situ preparation of bismuth film microelectrode for use in electrochemical stripping microanalysis

TL;DR: In this paper, a study on the preparation and characterisation of ex situ formed bismuth film microelectrodes (BiFMEs) is presented, focusing in particular on their stable and reliable stripping electroanalytical performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

New Insight into Platinum Dissolution from Nanoparticulate Platinum‐Based Electrocatalysts Using Highly Sensitive In Situ Concentration Measurements

TL;DR: In this article, the exact amount of dissolved Pt per cycle has been measured on real electrocatalysts, and it was shown that Pt dissolution depends on the particle size: approximately seven times as much Pt is released into the solution from commercial 3'nm Pt particles as from a commercial 30'mm Pt sample.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon Nanotube Modified Microelectrode for Enhanced Voltammetric Detection of Dopamine in the Presence of Ascorbate

TL;DR: In this paper, a single carbon fiber microelectrode modified with multi-wall carbon nanotubes and Nafion exhibits an attractive electroanalytical performance for enhanced voltammetric detection of dopamine in the presence of ascorbate at physiological pH.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ionic conductivity, infrared and Raman spectroscopic studies of 1-methyl-3-propylimidazolium iodide ionic liquid with added iodine

TL;DR: In this paper, the Raman spectra study of 1-methyl-3-propylimidazolium iodide (MPIm + I x − ; 1-≤ ǫ x   ≥ 3.5, symmetric I 3 − ions were established for x  = 3, while linear and discrete I 5 − was substantiated for 3  > 5.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bismuth film electrode for simultaneous adsorptive stripping analysis of trace cobalt and nickel using constant current chronopotentiometric and voltammetric protocol

TL;DR: In this article, a preplated bismuth film electrode (BiFE) was employed under adsorptive stripping voltammetric conditions in the presence of dimethylglyoxime complexing agent, which exhibited well-defined and undistorted signals with favorable overall resolution for cobalt and nickel cations.
