Heat transfer enhancement by using nanofluids in forced convection flows

TL;DR: In this article, the problem of laminar forced convection flow of nanofluids has been thoroughly investigated for two particular geometrical configurations, namely a uniformly heated tube and a system of parallel, coaxial and heated disks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heat transfer enhancement with the use of nanofluids in radial flow cooling systems considering temperature-dependent properties

TL;DR: In this paper, the laminar forced convection flow of these nanofluids between two coaxial and parallel disks with central axial injection has been considered using temperature-dependent nano-fluid properties.

Heat transfer enhancement by using nanofluids in forced convection flows

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of laminar forced convection flow of nanofluids has been thoroughly investigated for two particular geometrical configurations, namely a uniformly heated tube and a system of parallel, coaxial and heated disks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heat transfer and fluid flow of nanofluids in laminar radial flow cooling systems

TL;DR: In this paper, a numerical investigation into the heat transfer enhancement capabilities of coolants with suspended metallic nanoparticles inside a radial, laminar flow cooling configuration is presented, and the results indicate that considerable heat transfer increases are possible with the use of relatively small volume fractions of nanoparticles.
