Journal ArticleDOI

Flow injection analysis with amperometric detector utilizing the redox reaction of iodate ion.

TL;DR: In this paper, a flow injection method for the determination of oxidizable compounds was developed by utilizing the redox reaction of iodate ion with the sample, which was monitored by measuring its reducing current at a platinum wire electrode held at + 0.6 V vs. a silver tubing electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Potentiometric argentimetric method for the successive titration of sulphide and dissolved sulphur in polysulphide solutions.

TL;DR: Sulphid sulphur and dissolved sulphur in a polysulphide solution can be successively determined with satisfactory accuracy and reproducibility by potentiometric argentimetry in which a sulphide-selective indicator electrode is used.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Rapid Determination of Sulfide, Thiosulfate, and Polysulfide in the Lixiviation Water of Blast-furnace Slag by Means of Argentimetric Potentiometric Titration

TL;DR: In this article, the end points of sulfide and thiosulfate ions were determined from two titrations for each sample with the coefficient of variation of 0.3% at the concentration level of 5×10−4 M (1 M = 1 mol dm−3).
Journal ArticleDOI

Rapid Determination of Sulfite Ion by Potentiometric Argentometric Titration Using Iodide-ion Selective Membrane Electrode

TL;DR: In this paper, a potentiometric argentometric titrimetry using an iodide-ion selective membrane electrode was developed for the rapid determination of sulfite ion, which is applicable to the determination of suifur dioxide in chimney gases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ion chromatography of sulfur species in polysulfide solution utilizing cyanolysis.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the characteristics of the environment in terms of temperature, humidity, and humidity of the air quality conditions in the area of the city of Tokyo, Japan.
