Journal ArticleDOI

Natural dyes as photosensitizers for dye-sensitized solar cell

TL;DR: In this article, a dye-sensitized solar cell was assembled by using natural dyes extracted from black rice, capsicum, erythrina variegata flower, rosa xanthina, and kelp as sensitizers.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Thermoplastic Gel Electrolyte for Stable Quasi‐Solid‐State Dye‐Sensitized Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, a thermoplastic gel electrolyte (TPGE) was proposed as an alternative to the liquid electrolytes used in DSSCs, which exhibits high conductivity, long-term stability, and can be prepared by a simple and convenient protocol.
Journal ArticleDOI

The polymer gel electrolyte based on poly(methyl methacrylate) and its application in quasi-solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells

TL;DR: Based on the polymer gel electrolyte, a quasi-solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) was fabricated as mentioned in this paper, which possessed a good longterm stability and a light-to-electrical energy conversion efficiency of 4.78% under irradiation of 100mW cm −2 simulated sunlight, which was almost equal to that of DSSC with a liquid electrolyte.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gel polymer electrolyte based on poly(acrylonitrile-co-styrene) and a novel organic iodide salt for quasi-solid state dye-sensitized solar cell

TL;DR: A gel polymer electrolyte based on poly(acrylonitrile- co -styrene) as polymer matrix and N -methyl pyridine iodide salt as I − source was prepared in this article.
