Big Data Analysis Framework for Water Quality Indicators with Assimilation of IoT and ML

TL;DR: In this paper , a big data analytics framework is proposed to analyze the water quality parameters of 13 districts of Uttarakhand and find the correlation among the parameters with the assimilation of IoT and ML.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intelligent energy and ecosystem for real-time monitoring of glaciers

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the impact and significance of emerging and cutting-edge technologies like Remote Sensing, the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and robots implementation for the digitalization in glaciers.
Journal Article

Estimation of ground insolation using METEOSAT data over India

TL;DR: In this article, a physical retrieval scheme was used for mapping insolation using METEOSAT VISSR sensor data over the Indian landmass for the winter season, covering the months of November-December 1998 and January 1999, and used five daytime acquisitions of meteosat visible (0.3-1.1 μm), thermal (10.5-12.5 μm) channel data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spatio-temporal fluctuations analysis of land surface temperature (LST) using Remote Sensing data (LANDSAT TM5/8) and multifractal technique to characterize the urban heat Islands (UHIs)

TL;DR: In this article , the authors analyzed spatiotemporal space-borne sensor data in the Indian Himalayan foothills using multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis (MDFA), and the coefficients derived through MDFA such as holder exponent (h), spectral width (α), irregularity, truncation spectra, and spatial distribution are analyzed for various land features.
Journal ArticleDOI

Geospatial technology-based monitoring of HAGL in the context of flash flood: A case study of Rishi Ganga Basin, India

TL;DR: In this article , an early warning system based on geospatial technology to minimize loss of life, particularly for the workers employed in the engineering projects in the vicinity of the risk zone was proposed.
