Mesoporous Chitosan–SiO2 Nanoparticles: Synthesis, Characterization, and CO2 Adsorption Capacity
TL;DR: In this paper, mesoporous chitosan-SiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully synthesized using TEM, FTIR, XRD, TGA, EDX, and (CHN) elemental analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization of culture medium and modeling of curdlan production from Paenibacillus polymyxa by RSM and ANN.
Sayyid Mahdi Rafigh,Ali Vaziri Yazdi,Manouchehr Vossoughi,Ali Akbar Safekordi,Mehdi Ardjmand +4 more
TL;DR: Paenibacillus polymyxa ATCC 21830 was used for the production of curdlan gum for first time and the results showed that the ANN model is much more accurate in prediction as compared to the RSM.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protein adsorption using novel carboxymethyl-curdlan microspheres
Sayyid Mahdi Rafigh,Ali Vaziri Yazdi,Ali Akbar Safekordi,Amir Heydari Nasab,Mehdi Ardjmand,Fereshteh Naderi,Hamid Mozafari +6 more
TL;DR: Novel carboxymethyl-curdlan microspheres, a water soluble curdlan derivative, synthesized in an aqueous alkaline medium using monochloroacetic acid, can be regenerated and re-used and fitted the pseudo-second-order model for adsorption.
Journal ArticleDOI
Green synthesis of RGO/Ag: As evidence for the production of uniform mono-dispersed nanospheres using microfluidization
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of nanocomposites with silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) on the surface of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanosheets using microfluidization by celery seeds extract as a green reducing agent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Melanoidin removal from molasses wastewater using graphene oxide nanosheets
TL;DR: In this paper, graphene oxide nanosheets (GONs) were successfully synthesized to remove melanoid in the molasses-based distillation effluents, which is a dark brown recalcitrant pollutant.
