Measurements of Balance: Comparison of the Timed "Up and Go" Test and Functional Reach Test with the Berg Balance Scale
TL;DR: This study suggests that theTimed "Up and Go" test alone or a combination of the Timed " up and go" and Functional Reach tests can be used as a simple measure of balance comparable to the Berg Balance Scale.
Journal ArticleDOI
Toward the optimal waveform for electrical stimulation of human muscle.
TL;DR: The data support sine wave stimulation as working the best by producing the desired muscle tension with the least mean stimulation current and therefore, the least tissue trauma while providing the most subjective comfort.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Data Driven Methodology for Decoupled Aircraft Wake Vortex Propagation Using Proper Orthogonal Decomposition
TL;DR: In this paper , a new methodology is presented to simulate aircraft wake systems by decoupling the detailed high-lift wing geometry and the wake propagation through the implementation of an additional source term in the governing fluid transport equations.
