Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds that are active at neurotensin receptors and represented by the formula:(I) where the structural variables are defined herein. The compounds can be used for a variety of therapies, including modulating dopamine transmission, treating Parkinsons disease, preventing a relapse to drug seeking, providing an antipsychotic effect, providing neuroprotection, treating pain, treating cancer, and inhibiting cancer progression.
