Physical Properties of Cubes from Fractionated Suncured and Dehydrated Alfalfa Chops

TL;DR: In this article, the physical properties of cubes manufactured from fractionated sun-cured and dehydrated alfalfa chops were studied using a single cubing unit, where a hydraulic cubing machine with a maximum capacity of 14.0 MPa was used to apply compressive pressures on the fractionated chops.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Evaluation of Hybrid Poplar and Salix (Salix) Biomass for Pellet Production

TL;DR: The physical characteristics of 3 year old chipped Hybrid Poplar (HP) and Salix (Salix) stems and pellets made from these feedstocks were determined in this paper, where four species of HP and six species of Salix were tested.
