Electrochemical capacitor of magnetite in aqueous electrolytes

TL;DR: The capacitive properties of magnetite nanocrystallites, along with conductive carbon black additive, in aqueous electrolytes, including sodium sulphite, sulphate, chloride, and phosphate, have been characterised by means of cyclic voltammetry and chrono-potentiometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microwave-assisted solution synthesis of SnO nanocrystallites

TL;DR: In this paper, high purity powders of SnO nanocrystallites with crystallite sizes less than 30 nm and surface areas up to 40 m 2 /g have been synthesized by a solution process, in which amorphous oxyhydroxy precipitate of Sn + 2 is crystallized with microwave heating.
Journal ArticleDOI

Conductivity percolation in carbon–carbon supercapacitor electrodes

TL;DR: In this paper, composite electrodes which comprise a non-conductive activated carbon of large surface area (1420m2−g−1) and a conductive carbon black (CB) of small surface area(220m2µg −1) have been prepared and studied for their capacitive properties in aqueous KOH and Na2SO4 electrolytes.
