On-line partial discharge calibration and monitoring for power transformers
A.S. Farag,M.H Shewhdi,X Jin,C. Wang,T.C. Cheng,Xinzhou Dong,Shilin Gao,W Jing,Zhongdong Wang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, an on-line calibration method using pulse injection through tap of high voltage transformer bushings is described. But, this method is not suitable for on-site partial discharge (PD) monitoring.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficient Power Flow Algorithm for AC/MTDC Considering Complementary Constraints of VSC's Reactive Power and AC Node Voltage
TL;DR: An efficient ac/dc power flow algorithm considering the complementary constraints of VSC's reactive power limit and ac node voltage is presented, which can be distinguished from the existing works in terms of both modeling and algorithm aspects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of Optimal Shift Frequency for Shifted Frequency-Based Simulation
TL;DR: In this paper, a method to determine the optimal shift frequency (OSF) for shifted frequency (SF)-based simulation was proposed, and the error of SF-based simulation is quantitatively analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Three-stage implicit integration for large time-step size electromagnetic transient simulation with shifted frequency-based modeling
TL;DR: The three-stage singly diagonally implicit Runge–Kutta (3S-SDIRK) method is applied to the numerical integration of SFEMT simulation and results show that the SFEMt simulation using 3S- SDIRK for integration is free from numerical oscillation and is accurate and efficient.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Generating Large-Scale Electromagnetic Transient Simulation Model on CloudPSS Using PSASP Projects
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to generate a large-scale EMT simulation model on the EMT software CloudPSS using the existing PSASP projects and analyzed the correspondence relationship between the transient stability (TS) model and EMT model on cloudPSS.
