Penicilliosis marneffei complicated with interstitial pneumonia.

TL;DR: The first case of a non-HIV patient with P. marneffei infection in Japan is reported, and the infiltration observed on chest radiographs improved following treatment with itraconazole and tazobactam/piperacillin, and no relapse occurred.
