Journal ArticleDOI
Label-free microfluidic paper-based electrochemical aptasensor for ultrasensitive and simultaneous multiplexed detection of cancer biomarkers.
Yang Wang,Jinping Luo,Juntao Liu,Shuai Sun,Ying Xiong,Yuanyuan Ma,Shi Yan,Yue Yang,Huabing Yin,Xinxia Cai +9 more
TL;DR: The proposed multi-parameter paper-based electrochemical aptasensor for simultaneous detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) in a clinical sample with high sensitivity and specificity received a good correlation with large electrochemical luminescence (ECL) equipment.
Journal ArticleDOI
ITO-based Electro-absorption Modulator for Photonic Neural Activation Function
Rubab Amin,Jonathan K. George,Shuai Sun,T. Ferreira de Lima,Alexander N. Tait,Jacob B. Khurgin,Mario Miscuglio,Bhavin J. Shastri,Bhavin J. Shastri,Paul R. Prucnal,Tarek El-Ghazawi,Volker J. Sorger +11 more
TL;DR: An electro-absorption modulator based on an IndiumTin Oxide layer, whose dynamic range is used as nonlinear activation function of a photonic neuron is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fundamental Scaling Laws in Nanophotonics.
TL;DR: It is shown that optoelectronic device performance scales non-monotonically with device length due to the various device tradeoffs, and how both optical and electrical constrains influence device power consumption and operating speed is analyzed.

ITO-based Electro-absorption Modulator for Photonic Neural Activation Function
Rubab Amin,Jonathan K. George,Shuai Sun,Thomas Ferreira de Lima,Alexander N. Tait,Jacob B. Khurgin,Mario Miscuglio,Bhavin J. Shastri,Paul R. Prucnal,Tarek El-Ghazawi,Volker J. Sorger +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an electro-absorption modulator based on an IndiumTin Oxide layer, whose dynamic range is used as nonlinear activation function of a photonic neuron, is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Imaging through scattering layers exceeding memory effect range with spatial-correlation-achieved point-spread-function.
TL;DR: This work proposes to measure intensity transmission matrices or point-spread-function of diffusers via spatial-correlation, with no scanning or interferometric detection required, and substitutes time-consuming iterative algorithms by a fast cross-correlations deconvolution method to greatly reduce time consumption for image reconstruction.
