High-Performance Flexible Thin-Film Transistors Based on Single-Crystal-like Silicon Epitaxially Grown on Metal Tape by Roll-to-Roll Continuous Deposition Process.

TL;DR: The first demonstration of high-performance flexible thin-film transistors (TFTs) using single-crystal-like Si thin films with a field-effect mobility of ∼200 cm2/V·s and saturation current, I/lW > 50 μA/μm, which are orders-of-magnitude higher than the device characteristics of conventional flexible TFTs.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-Performance Flexible Thin-Film Transistors Based on Single-Crystal-Like Germanium on Glass

TL;DR: In this paper, a single-crystal-like germanium (Ge) channel was used to achieve high carrier mobility, high performance characteristics, mechanical flexibility, and cost-effective large-area manufacturing.
Journal ArticleDOI

High opto-electronic quality n-type single-crystalline-like GaAs thin films on flexible metal substrates

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed study of the microstructural and opto-electronic properties of single-crystalline-like n-type GaAs thin films directly grown on inexpensive flexible metal substrates by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) is presented.
